Universal joints, torque tubes and flange bearings

Jefa 10 series universal joints type UJ10

The Jefa 10 series universal joints are machined out of solid aluminium 6086 with an aluminium 7075 spider to achieve maximum strength combined with a minimum of weight. The maximum torque that can be transmitted is 40.5 KgfM. The connection of the universal joint to gearbox shafts is done via an oval connection which is tightened with a bolt. The connection to the torque tubes is achieved with a clamp with keys using the outside of the universal joint. Please click on the pictures for a larger view.

Jefa 10 series universal joints type UJ11

The Jefa UJ11 universal joint is a special version of the UJ10 universal joint. It's used in combination with the flange bearing FB10 to pass a bulkhead under an angle. The UJ11 universal joint has a high tolerance Ø 45 mm surface for the self-aligning roller flange bearing.

Jefa 10 series flange bearings type FB10

The Jefa FB10 flange bearing is used in combination with universal joint UJ11 to pass a bulkhead under an angle. The flange bearings is machined out of aluminium 6082 and black anodised. The bearing is self-aligning and contains rollers for the minimum in friction and backlash.

Jefa 10 series torque tube

The Jefa 10 series torque tube are extruded from aluminium 6082 and silver anodised. The outside diameter of the tube is 45 mm and 8 mm wide keyways are integrated in the profile. This unique profile allows the torque tubes to be cut to length without any welding. Every torque tube is delivered with two mounting clamps to attach the torque tubes to the universal joints. The maximum unsupported length is 2500 mm.
