Fibreglass "Blue Water"
Stern Tube
"Blue Water" fibreglass stern tubing is
manufactured from wrapped fibreglass material
and bonded with top quality epoxy resin for
strength and durability. This tube is
designed to work in conjunction with our Blue
Water shaft seals, or can be supplied as a tube
only.
Options
These stern
tubes can be fitted with optional intermediate
bearings forward and aft, or can be fitted with
a main bearing aft as required. We use
vesconite for the bearings, which gives friction
free running and long life. Tubes can be
supplied with a sanded finish on request.
Lengths
Stern tubes can be capped to any length
required by the boat builder (up to 3
meters)
