Type 316 is an austenitic
chromium stainless and heat resisting steel with superior corrosion
resistance to other chromium steels when exposed to many types of
chemical corrodents, as well as marine atmospheres. Type 316
is non-magnetic when annealed, but slightly magnetic when cold
worked

Propeller Shafts
We manufacture standard marine propeller
shafts in T316 stainless steel. Machined
to the customer's requirements in sizes 3/4" to
4" diameter.
Castellated nuts, split pins and keys can be
supplied with each shaft, on request.
