 The ST-08
PUMP is the result
of years of research and development in technology of sea water
purification by reverse osmosis, being the eighth generation of
high pressure pumps with energy recovery.
Specially designed for sail and motor boats with limited energy
sources.
The systems developed and patented by
ECO-SISTEMS WATERMAKERS S.L., known worldwide as ETD
(Energy Transfer Device), recover the energy in waste water from
the membranes which, before being rejected, passes once again
through the pump, enhancing the feed water pressure. The systems
repeats this process until reaching the pressure needed for the
reverse osmosis process to start producing fresh water, while
stabilizing and regulating the system pressure. Automatic pressure regulation, being a
volumetric system.
