Capstans


Powerful and compact rope capstans, normally installed on the stern of the boat for warping operations. Capstans are made of heavy duty SS Steel with a stainless steel vertical shaft. All bases and drums are made of SS steel 316, providing trouble-free operation. The construction and the mechanics are the same as the vertical anchor windlasses. The motor & gear are located under the boat’s deck when installed, which allows for quiet operation.
